Fats are much more than just a source of energy: they play a central role in our body. They transport fat-soluble vitamins (A, D, E, K), serve as building blocks for cell membranes, are the basis for hormone production and protect our nerve cells. Unsaturated fatty acids are particularly valuable - especially omega-3 fatty acids.

Why cold-pressed oils are so special

Cold-pressed vegetable oils such as Linseed oilTree nut oil or Sesame oil contain many of these polyunsaturated fatty acids. Their liquid consistency is an indication of their high content - but this is precisely what makes them sensitive. You should therefore not heatedbut should be stored in a cool place and protected from light.

  • Linseed oil has a particularly high content of alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), an essential omega-3 fatty acid. Already 1-2 tablespoons daily can help to lower LDL cholesterol and support the heart, brain and blood vessels.
  • Tree nut oil also provides ALA (approx. 13 %), tastes pleasantly nutty and is ideal for Salads, dips or desserts.
  • Sesame oil contains mainly monounsaturated fatty acids and is therefore longer lasting and, with its mildly nutty note, brings that certain zing to Asian-inspired bowls or dressings.

Gently pressed for natural enjoyment

Cold pressing is carried out at low temperatures - this preserves valuable fatty acids and fat-accompanying ingredients. The result: an intense, natural aroma and high nutritional value. This is why cold-pressed organic oils are the First choice for a conscious, enjoyable diet - preferably without heating!
